Is this kept in a nuclear bunker for safe keeping???

Lovely early Merlin! And nicely setup bike/photo:

Aligned tyre/rim logos
Vertically aligned logos/valves in photo
Chain set in middle of rings/cassette for nice derailleur angle
Horizontal cranks with drive side leading
Flat pedal position

the photos were taken in the only spot with natural light in the bunker
the first time I participate and I followed the rules a little bit even though I miss the link in the Reader's Bikes section

Al.Lugtenburg’s 1997 Specialized Stumpjumper M2 Comp, the Black Eye - [Build Thread].

This is an upgraded free build with original and unrestored parts, all in black and dark gray colors.

I used to race with a Stumpjumper back in the 90's and this build turned to be one of the best bikes I've ever ride.
