I use a normal balance...

First I measured my weight, after I measured my weigth with the bike in my hands
so I make the difference...

The weight of the 100% complete bike is 8.8kg

not bad

my french try of a same period bike with french frame and french parts for a lightweight bike managed a bit better - just below 8.4 kg

Tomorrow i try to measure the weight of an another specialissima from 1973...i think that "she" can be lighter

...however, I satisfied my desire for lightness with my alan carbon
(that one day I will present here in the forum)

Its actually the first time I did weigh each individual part :facepalm:
but I tried to be "pro" doing this weightweenie excercise

soon I'll probably be able to show a rather rare other french machine built as a randonneuse with fenders (in alu), regular brooks saddle and front rack that should be below 10 kg - a rather rare performance :idea:

I weighed the other very special! 8.5 kg, and is mounted with the "nuovo-record" group
if I Mount it with the "super-record" group would weigh less
