Callisto LaSorte
Old School Hero
Hello everyone! I'm new to the forum and this is the first time I present a bike.
I am happy to share my bike with you!
This is a Bianchi mod. "Specialissima-Superleggera" from 1979 completely original.
(perhaps the only things are not correct saddle and rims but are very close to the original)
The frame is made of "columbus SL" tubes and the geometries are very aggressive.
the bike is "short wheelbase" with medium wheelbase of 96 centimeters, very responsive!
The group is completely Campagnolo super-record, rear derailleur and crank are patented '79, plus there is the front derailleur SR with 4 holes!
Many components are pantograph "Bianchi" with blue enamel finish
(i like to much this kind of finitures...)
On this bike I run a "conservative" restoration trying to revive all the pieces in respect of originality.
Personally I find it very fascinating. I hope you enjoy it too!
