Old School Hero
Hello everyone! Here I present my second "vintage" MTB.
Bianchi mod. "Pholcus" from the "Ragno" family.
"Ragno" was a line of MTB by Bianchi with a particular kind of frame called "ATB-flex system" very similar to some Mantis valkyrie.
The Bianchi "Ragno" in Italy is a true legend!
a legend that in the 90 represented a status symbol and the bike was more desired by all boys aged 10 to 20 years!
(as a child I never had and now I have finally bought it, YEAH!)
The first Ragno was produced in 1989 and there was different models in different quality.
We start from the cheapest with Shimano SIS and 200GS with steel pipes of low quality until you get to those fitted with Shimano XT and columbus tubes.
in order of increasing quality:
Meta
Thomisus
Pholcus
Theridion
Migale
Araneus
At the time were very expensive bike compared to the true quality of the product ...
This in photo is a Pholcus and is completely original and practically new! Even the tires are original!
As you can see from the photos was very well kept and there is not even a scratch!
...and it is a miracle because these bikes usually saw the most daring adventures
the bike is not a high standard, but it is still very nice
... and for me it is sentimental issue!
