Looking good!!
Thanks man
Just got myself a nice XLite PSS Kevlar saddle - put it on and took it for a spin.
Lovely saddle - as is the Fabric one! I can't decide between them, both look good and feel great - best saddles I've used.
I think the blue XLite looks nice and colourful - it's also 1997 so same age as the frame.

Re: Bianchi Reparto Corse Ti Martini FRM Ritchey WCS

sheeeeet, sorry dude, totes forgot about the saddle lend, you in tonight? Or I'm in Stokey if you swing by at any point, still more than welcome to lend for a tryout....

Re: Bianchi Reparto Corse Ti Martini FRM Ritchey WCS

Hi mate. I follow your assembly and i saw all the seats you mounted. To my taste, this one doesn’t fit up. I think you will be satisfied only when you mount the one that belongs to this beautiful frame,...if not flite Ti celeste then one less expensive celeste bianchi ;)

I think you’re right - I do like how this black one looks (here I’ve changed the pedals to Raceface Atlas) but you’re right - this bike needs the racing saddle as that is part of the frame package! Without it it’s incomplete

If you know anyone selling one please let me know

Re: Bianchi Reparto Corse Ti Martini FRM Ritchey WCS

Well, all things eventually come to an end - and has this long winded build.
Very happy with everything - the looks, the feel, the components, their function and aesthetic, rides beautifully and everything works superbly - from the brakes to the shifting.
Here are some final pictures to finish off this - for those who followed this thanks for persevering.
And weighing in at 20 lbs and 8 oz it’s a flyweight but not too light.

Yes it’s been used quite a bit - this bike has been raced in a World Championship (so said Marco who sold it to me) - it’d be interesting to know where and who rode it.

Now onto a new project - I want another Bianchi Martini racing frame - in steel. If anyone knows of one on sale please let me know.

Thanks man - it does
With the weight now being under 21 lbs - it’s light - but light and strong! I had great fun riding it as I used to my BMX yonks ago - bunny hops and jumps and that - Haven’t had as much fun in years!
Credit goes to the suspension forks - they feel perfect - I set them up with just the right plushness and firmness - for the weight (1.2kg) and the make FRM who haven’t got the R&D as the big brands have (but FRM have 30 years in the MTB game) I thought they would be crap - boy was I surprised! So surprised

Yes man for sure, If I will find something I'll let you know.
For me the black seat is the most beautiful right after the celeste. So even some nice black Ti would fit really well. Have a nice ride with this beauty ;)
