Bianchi I.D. help

This seems to be a popular subject! I purchased this Bianchi frame recently, and was hoping for some help in identifying the model and year, if possible. Unfortunately it is stripped of decals, but it is the original paint and some clues may be the white engravings at the seat stay caps, as well as the eagle logos on the fork crown. There is also a letter B on the lug at the down tube/head tube junction. The bottom bracket has a 20509 stamp when viewing from the drive side and 9 C on the non-drive side. The tubing is not SLX (no spiral ridges inside), and the dropouts are Gipiemme.

Hi , This is very similar to a 1989 Mondiale frame . I think it is higher quality with the engraved seat stay top eyes and B in the lugs . The serial number sounds familiar to the Mondiale . Look up on line 1989 Bianchi Mondiale lots of information for you to harvest . The tubing is probably Columbus sl . The bottom bracket threading should be Italian , I would check that .
