Bianchi build thread

Some will consider a cardinal sin, but going to build this Specialissima with 8 speed DA. I've had most of the parts for a couple of years waiting for a nice British fame (maybe TI Raleigh)

I bought this frame last year that had been really badly painted. I tried to get on with it but then bit the bullet and had it re-chromed and painted.

Annoyingly, the steerer is too short to accommodate a C Record headset so I decided to treat it to Dura Ace 7402. Im also sticking with single pivot brake callipers as, to me, they look so much better.

Im going to have a go at stitching on a leather bar cover - wish me luck!

I found one myself earlier this week by accident in my stuff, but it won't stick anymore. It has to be glued otherwise.

Tidy - can't stand modern Bianchi models but this is great!
