I can't quite put my finger on why this rides so differently because it's a tad heavier than the BFe (bigger frame and heavier forks) but it feels much more lively. There are some people who find the BFe quite stodgy and harsh for a steel frame which I never understood until now. I'm genuinely surprised at the difference because on paper they're pretty similar...both steel, slack, low BB etc.
I don't think the BFe is a bad bike at all, it's a very confident bike going downhill but I think the Stanton is going to suit me better.
