My brother has bought a very lightly used Hoy bicycle for my nephew for Christmas, like this one:
I offered to give it a clean and a once-over. Now i've wiped of some dust and given the frame a polish it looks pretty much brand new with hardly a mark or any signs of use on it. However, the white saddle and handlebar grips are a little bit grubby.
What's the best way to clean them, just soapy water, or something more exotic?
I always stick with black saddles, grips and bar tape, so I've never really had this issue.
