Magura rim brakes in 1998: never needed any maintenance since apart from snapping in some new pads.

The other one would be my Dawes (retro) mtb tandem. Cycling with my kids is fab.

Most bargainous I guess was a Cinelli Super Corsa for 100eu in Amsterdam last year; but my fave purchase was one of the first ProFlex 955 frame and fork sets to arrive in the UK (from Stif) BiTD - boy was I excited and smug when that box arrived! Fond memories of my first Californian imported 'retrobike' - a first generation Nishiki Alien for less than $100...
