Best bike frame courier? Parcel Force, UPS

Dirt Disciple
I'm looking to have a frame and forks collected from the Midlands to sunny Berks but want it picked up on Friday (only day guy is in this week).
What courier would you recommend? Want reliability and decent price for uber light packaged frame 1.4kg total weight.
Also want to specify day of collection and can't see a way of doing that on parcel force website.

Many Thanks!

I use www.senditnow.com and find them to be very good.

www.parcelmonkey.co.uk is also very good and offers a wider choice of couriers.

But, and I say this every time someone asks, DO NOT USE YODEL, EVER. They are the most incompetent bunch of clowns ever to grace the face of the earth and you'd have more luck firing the frame out of a trebuchet in the general direction of where you want it to end up.

Agreed, Yodel are complete cretins! Heard a few bad things about Parcelmonkey but not heard of senditnow so will look at them and Hermes too then.

Yodel are ace, ignore everyone else.
They tend to always deliver the goods.

Certainly managed to get this frame to it's intended place.

Going by Yodel standards, that's in good nick too!

Wish I'd taken a photo of the S Works FSR they delivered to me, complete with forklift truck tyre marks, a crushed downtube and "repacked by Yodel" tape..

You can try
https://www.myhermes.co.uk they seem to be pretty good not sent a frame tho !
Wrap it up well and it should be ok

I have used these just recently for a couple of frames, a set of wheels and an Islabike, and all has been perfect. I also only live a few hundred yards from one of the "Drop off shops", so I don't even have to wait in for days for the item to be picked up. Cheap too.

MyHermes have been good for me, as in always had stuff delivered in good nick, and as far as I know stuff I have sent in good nick.

Yodel on the other hand..........................

Looks like Hermes compensation only goes to £250 :(
Shame as it looks like the easiest website to book yet!
