Finally finished it a few weeks ago. Wasn’t happy with the yellow tape so went over it with some NOS Benotto blue. The SRAM Force 1 is ok around here unless you have a big tailwind. Found the Frameset online from an Austrian bike store and had it shipped to me in Puglia. Had the paint touched up and new decals made. I spread the rear for the modern groupset but you still have to let the air out of the rear wheel to get it out! Sorted the rear wheel slipping on the first ride with some old Campy skewers.

Very nice. I have one of these awaiting restoration, the paint has the fish scale pattern, so it's going to be a challenge.

Well, I got itchy feet and near enough started again. Carbon Miche tubs, new carbon forks, post, Integralter bars and new saddle….
