Battered/ broken Kona Kilauea or Explosif 98 or 99

Hi I'm looking for either an Explosif or Kilauea 19" frame. Not worried about condition as long as it is repairable. It's for a custom project! It has to be the 98 or 99 steel frame please.

It all depends on the frame, as cheap as I can. I don't want a nice/ clean frame because I want to custom paint it!

Fair enough, although to give you an idea on price I sold a 1998 Explosif frame which was very tatty (but straight) on here for £120 and had quite a few interested parties whereas I bought a Reynolds 853 genesis altitude frame on Ebay for £35 if it's the material you were especially keen on, that might be a cheaper option. Konas always seem to command a big price!

It really needs to be a Kona. I'll prob end up spending too much on it anyway. £120 doesn't sound too far out IMO. I would take an earlier model as well, and have a tread in the >97 part also. Thanks for the advice.

I've got 2 x Kilauea frames here a '94' and a '98', I think their both 19".
The '98' is Reynolds 631 in that lovely mustard colour, but its got a dent on the top tube.
The '94' has a non standard paint job that will make you smile
