Bargaintastic Garmin 705

So, I recieved some "high street" gift vouchers from work (long service award) and decided that as they were usable at Halfords I would treat myself to a bike computer.

I knew there was an online offer on the Garmin 200 at £117 so though why not. I'd never normally justify that amount on a toy, but as these were vouchers I could.

So reserve and collect a 200, but when I ge to the shop to pick it up I notice in the display case a 705 with HRM on a clearance offer of £124.95.

I'd be daft to not pay the extra £8, so did. Just spent a few minutes now setting it up.

As you can see HERE it isn't at that price on the web, so is presumably a local branch offer. There were another 2 in the display at Lncoln Tritton road branch for any locals who fancy a bargain too.

:D :D :D

At the price I think I'll check my local.
I have the 305 with Cadence and HR sensors, wonder if they're compatible.

Sporttracks is great software, v2 was the free one and just as good as v3.

You'd presume they're compatible wouldn't you.

It's certainly worth a look in your local branch, and you never know they might do a price match thingy if you ask.

What does the sporttrack software do? is it used instead of the Garmin software or aswell as?
