Scouting through marketplace the other day i came across this bike that free and ideal and ideal for a child. It was local to me,so gave the guy a message and went and collected it today.
It was listed as a Specialized hardrock 1992ish,but looking at the groupset and wheels(which are specialized bx23 i believe to be under the dirt) i don't think this is a hardrock. A quick google image scan shows that this has the frame dropouts as on a rockhopper,which with the spec most of the bike has makes this a 1992 rockhopper comp!
I got this for my son to ride(which won't be for a while as he's only 7!) so this will be a long slow burner of a project....
