Sadly my lathe is still in bits from the move (just over a year ago!) and come new year garage gets demolished to make room for a new one. Lathe will remain in bits for a while I suspect...

Ha! Have all the above Vrmmmm!!! Probably a combo of all the above (OK, one saw rather than two) to get a nice finish as wall thickness is quite thick.

Suspect I'll fit them and think this width is great and leave them as it!

Bought the ones mentioned above. Snipped them down.

They seem to work well!

Beat me to it! Will need a few pairs of these as a few of my bikes have fallen prey to the early 90s chop!

Im not sure how well they would work in thin alluminium bars, they are quite point loaded when you do the m up. I used them in chromed steel bars!

Don’t think I have any thin-walled weight weenie bars. Mix of True Temper steel, Tioga steel and then some thicker walled Nitto and Specialized bars. Will get x1 pair and see how they size up/fit before I buy a few.
