Sadly my lathe is still in bits from the move (just over a year ago!) and come new year garage gets demolished to make room for a new one. Lathe will remain in bits for a while I suspect...I hear a lathe revving up!
Ha! Have all the above Vrmmmm!!! Probably a combo of all the above (OK, one saw rather than two) to get a nice finish as wall thickness is quite thick.Rev up the pipe cutter.....errr hacksaw....junior hacksaw.....small file.....
Beat me to it! Will need a few pairs of these as a few of my bikes have fallen prey to the early 90s chop!Bought the ones mentioned above. Snipped them down.

Don’t think I have any thin-walled weight weenie bars. Mix of True Temper steel, Tioga steel and then some thicker walled Nitto and Specialized bars. Will get x1 pair and see how they size up/fit before I buy a few.Im not sure how well they would work in thin alluminium bars, they are quite point loaded when you do the m up. I used them in chromed steel bars!
