I take it you blokes have heard of suspensionforkparts.net..?

They are in the US, but I have bought from them took about three weeks to get my stuff (elastomers for Manitou Three) Kit cost £34

But they also do custom elastomers (you can specify the ID/OD/length and choose hardness...

And pay by paypal, all very straight forward and good results

- Probably doing myself a dis-service as you'll get that bike sorted and want to keep it

Can you not get a helicoil fitted in the mech hanger?

Helicoils have saved my bike parts on many occasions

I had to do a Google - Cos I need to know everything

I see there is a product called 'frame saver' which is a spray on corrosion inhibitor for steel frames...

But there is also the product fluffy mentions:

- Or just the threaded, low profile nut for £9.50...
