Heres a pic of exactly what im after, if i can figure out the dimensions of it then it will help me out massively with finding either a new or used one...

That would be good if it was 75mm, does the rise look a little more than 10degrees to you? (As thats what the shorty comes in)
Doe's look like quite a rise to it but as it's not a shorty the maker probably wasn't too worried about making a perfect copy ( the bolts are at the back for instance ) from memory transx made one like that .
Question is did you buy that one back then because you couldn't afford the shortys £100 price tag ? and do you want a perfect copy of the old bike or are you willing to make the few upgrades you couldn't at the time .

I had the shifters for a while and they were awful . Had the same headset in gold ; they have a needle bearing lower and came with the connix top part , which I still have somewhere although it looks like you had a headlock ? you might find it difficult getting hold of a orbit now ( unless you still have it ) it's been a long time since I've seen one .
