Avid brake levers

Are the new ones as good as they used to be? Looking at the FR5 and SD7. They look ok (apart from the clamp bolt being a bit clumsy looking), but they seem cheap...are they or are they just good value?

I have just purchased some SD7 levers, they look cheap compared to my XT levers from 1998!

They do work well though, and the dial feature is great for balancing the levers so they offer a similar feel.

Would I buy them again? No
Will I be changing them soon? No
