I was given the nickname Chopper by the young Herberts of my manor when I was a community beat officer. They thought I was a bit unhinged, and the name is a reference to Mark Brandon "Chopper" Read, an Australian criminal suspected of the murders of 20 drug dealers, but not convicted of any of them. My avatar is a picture of him. Alas, the name has firmly stuck and senior officers as high ranking as the Dep just call me Chopper.

Just to place some historical context the youff nicknamed my replacement the Turbanator, and his replacement The Swede.
