Association of Bad Cyclists

I am NOT a bad cyclist.

I base this statement on the belief I have trancended the status from 'cyclist' to 'one who has some bicycles in the shed'.

I think you will find my signature should be all the proof needed.

This thread is inspired.

It made me think and to be honest I ride / collect / tinker with bikes because they make me feel warm inside and remind me of when life was a whole lot simpler.

To be a good cyclist I would get out more, watch what I eat and be hankering after kit made after 1995. But I don't.

Therefore I am a Bad Cyclist.

I am a bad cyclist and proud of it!!
I have a pair of proper road shoes that rarely get worn, due to the fact that mtb ones are better for "the wee steeper bits I may have to walk up"........ :p

i was discussing this with a friend just yesterday.

i am a cyclist.

he rides a bike.

we ride together sometimes. i know how to use berms. i know the theory of climbong. i know the "attack" position.

he is faster than me. way faster.

he is fit. i am a bad cyclist.

i hate him.

If that's not a spelling mistake, I'd quite like to hear more about the priciple of Climbong...............does it require the use of a Mobal Ponce, by any chance?

*takes first coat off the peg to save time.............*

my name is Keir. I am a bad cyclist.

i am building up a mud bike, even though i usually cry off wet rides.
