Are wireless cycle computers any good?

None of mine (got 3) work in the dark
If you are using high powered lights they interfere with the signal.

Some LEDs lights, the big one, may interfere with some wireless lights.
My Exposure light messes up my cheapy Aldi wireless but the cateye is fine.

My wireless Cateye works a treat on my mtb, prior to this it did 3 years on a road bike with no problems :)

I've used wireless computers for years. They work fine and I've not had issue with lights (although I've only used halogen and HID).

Depending on budget I'd look at a Garmin or similar GPS though. I have one of Garmin's cheaper running ones and a bike mount. It works really well, easy to swap between bikes, accurate and you can upload data to their site easily.
