Are all square taper bb spindles the same tapers?

Guess it's time to get new arms so.
Shame to dump these as they really are cosmetically perfect :(

Actually have a mt60 crank arms here with inner tapers of 13.8 although we can't really measure so well at that level.

Can't help but wonder if a non-JIS axle would work with them .........

Re:

ISO ?
That spec you can look up, but without looking the spec up for you. Take you JIS taper and chop off the inner part a bit. That's your ISO taper pretty much. A shorter section starting from the narrow bit. So it ends up thinner near the shoulder.

Which is why you can put ISO cranks on JIS bottoms, but your chainline is a few mm further out.
But not vice versa.

Your bang on the button Fluffychicken! No hope there so.
Looks like shims or new arms are the only option so...
I'll try the shim stunt first after I pick up a 107mm BB, and I'll let you guys know how I get on ...

Tried 0.1mm thick aluminium coke can shim all round.
Appears to work well, thanks guys!

Very hopeful that it will be a good the solution to the issue - cause unknown.
Would've been a shame to bin these !

It will be a matter of time until they start creaking and carrying on, plus the shim will probably have deformed the taper further. I'd say someone has ridden them loose then gorilla'd them to try and get them to nip up.
