Thankfully it's not very typical to get a response like that on Retrobike. Most members are actually very friendly and helpful.

Boy Burning isn't at all sarcastic in any way though.

Size might be helpful too? They are pretty rare in some sizes aka It's taken me two and a half years of hard searching to find a pre disc braked Zaskar LE in 14.5 size and that cost over the odds, XiZangs in good nick generally can make £1000 frame only as a guide.

have you thought about going about this a different way,you could buy a good quality new bike and then sell it on ,and use the cash to buy something old skool from here
