Thankfully it's not very typical to get a response like that on Retrobike. Most members are actually very friendly and helpful.

Boy Burning isn't at all sarcastic in any way though.

Size might be helpful too? ;) They are pretty rare in some sizes aka It's taken me two and a half years of hard searching to find a pre disc braked Zaskar LE in 14.5 size and that cost over the odds, XiZangs in good nick generally can make £1000 frame only as a guide.

have you thought about going about this a different way,you could buy a good quality new bike and then sell it on ,and use the cash to buy something old skool from here :D
