anyone know the cheapest way to ship a frame over from USA?

have spotted something that id love to have sent over to ol' Blighty, but even though the seller is receptive to any alternative suggestions, the cheapest quote he can find is around $400!

Im sure it can be done a whole lot cheaper, its a light frame only in a box, approx 13lbs all in I believe.

any suggestions?

to be honest, it can be cheaper to fly over and bring it back in person...daft as it sounds.

Yup, Waiting for a Dekerf frame to come over from Seattle. Postage for that was $50 with USPS

Just had a second frame shipped over at a cost to me of $43 but the label on the box says fee's $58!
Had to pay Parcelforce Worldwide £37.55 in VAT and costs though. Didn't pay anything on the first frame though.

got a complete bike shipped over for $165 by USPS, wheels in 1 box ($65) and everthing else in the other ($100). fully insured.
