Anyone into making plastic models ? Recently completed this truck from the film ''Over The Top''

hello, good day and thanks for the feedback. Yes, the time doesn't matter, it should be reasonable and one-to-one like crazy the model truck (there are still more birthdays to come in the years to come .. can you give me a price, what that would cost approximately , if you make this model for me, time would be unlimited. And as I said, I have the model kit that I could send you.

If I was to make it, it would have to go through the company.. therefore costing you 4x more than someone who could make you this from home.. you’re better off asking a hobbyist.

Hi. As the builder of the amazing truck has said previously, this is not a kit, it was custom made by himself and no others will be made.

You say you have a kit already, does the kit not come with instructions? If you are unable to build it yourself then a forum dedicated to the building of models would be a far better option for you to pursue. There are a few, depending on where you live, a link to one in the UK is provided below.

Hopefully you find someone to build it for you, or another option would to be to build it together with your son, learning the skills together.

It took me more than 7 months to build, I was at it for about 4 hours a day but at the weekends it was easily 12 hours, at a guess only the cab - bonnet - front wheel arches are standard kit parts, the rest of the truck was cut up/narrowed/lengthened....one hell of a custom model, I'll never build such a truck again, just too much stress in building it all.
