Before, during and (nearly) after restoration pictures of my current (my third) Citroën DS.
Still some of the trims to fit, and the factory option air conditioning (but with a modern compressor) to plumb in, but it is usable and very lovely.

if only they where mine.. and hadn't been sold, I would have a nice inheritance coming if they ever died
The e-type and others are not pictured.
Currently another wreck of a Healey, but earlier still is in the garage.
My father in law does it to keep busy and drives them until he needs to find another wreck.
The XK140 (not a 120) was sold before they became the price they are today, really nice looking car. As crap to drive as any old e-type or XK is, but hey modern cars all look the same, too easy to drive and could go over any dodgy pot holed street, drive themselves with no sole ;-)
Some of his classic cars club are now being allowed to be 15+ years old at some events.
I'll be joining him in my Citroen Xsara Picasso soon.
