Anyone ID themselves, or the bikes, from BiTD? Malverns '91

I went in 93 or 94 and it was fun but the 'sport' cat race was badly organized and they lost count of the laps completed when the finish sign fell down

My contribution towards the photographic record of the '91 Lake Jumping...

...taken from the far side of the lake with a 300mm lens and 1600ASA Fuji colour film
then printed in B&W. Lifted from my portfolio and looking as good as the day I printed
it; Ilford archive quality paper for you

1995? Didn't they cancel it after that though, or just for a year or two? I was definitely there in 1999 as my last one.

Did the malverns up to the year of the incident! Tbh it was on the cards that something was going to happen! There were too many aholes there in the previous couple years that were not there for the racing, the beer/drug party tent wasn't a good thing, the theft of kit and bikes from
the stands and ours :(
money and egos started to take over the sport! MBUk in my opinion was at the forefront of screwing up what was a fun sport that you could do on a low budget, things like you couldn' race on a bike less than £400 or on anything heavier than 27lbs was crap..... Their not much better today! I only read it in the shop and flick straight to the only bit worth reading, Mint Sauce :)

Rant over...... For the few year before the incident we all enjoyed racing there and had a great time :) some where in my loft is a VHS vid of I'd of the years we ride there, every ond who rode for the shop is on the vid apart from me.... well you can see the back of my head as the camera pans around the crowd at the lake jumping
If anyone has any pictures of me crashing at the bomb hole? Loose them now please, I got the urine ripped out me enough back then and don't need any more :)

unbelievable, no suspension forks and cantilever brakes!!

even the helmets look retro.
