A friend of mine did the powdercoat. It looked ok at first but it needs to be redone now. I will probably get a proper wet coat from Toxik Harald here in Vancouver. My advise is don't cheap out on the paint job.
I hear you. I have done some with rattle can which are rubbish and some with an air brush which are good but the paint is soo pricy you may as well send it to the prods to do! Good work any more planned?
Not a Mtb, but I've built this one for my wife.It's a fillet brazed mixte in pregnant set up( sky high handlebar!). With a young daughter it's been hard to find the time but I would like to do a road bike at some point.
