Anyone else think this has been in a front end shunt?

hard to say, its a bit of a fish eye lens effect, it all looks a bit skewwiff.
The front wheel doesnt look too close to the downtube

just read one of the posts below and cant see two photos cos of the works blocker, so would reserve my judgement

Definitely! The two photos of the whole bike show the middle of the fork behind the steering axis. Avoid.

Thanks guys, I wasnt planning on buying it, just considering whether to inform the seller as it looks a bit dangerous to me!

Stupid wide angle shots, but the forks look about 2cm back. This looks like a low end bianchi, and the forks would probably pull forward quite easily. Nothing dangerous, we used to do hundreds in the 1950's when commuters needed to get to work and could not afford new parts. The steel is ductile, most of those we did were raleigh, and were not very strong in a forward impact. I could make them look a lot better in about 2 minutes.

Saw this bike on eBay myself before this post was put up and thought it was just my eyesight.

IMHO Looks like a mash up with that mix of components.
