Anyone admit to owning just one bike ?

My bikes to help,

2017 Giant front suspension, capable but boring.

Roberts White spider with Bonty Forks lovely looking but too nice to be used in anger ??

Kona Explosif, hardcore and much too hard on my middle aged battered body.

1997 Specialized Rockhopper, comfortable and the bike I use the most and simple, set up for Touring duties.

I ride tow paths, disused railways and tracks. Su suspension not needed.

I did have just one bike when we downsized and there wasn't a good place to keep multiple bikes. Although, I have had more than one bike at most points, I only ride one, I get another, sell the previous and repeat. I like buying second hand, gutting them, cleaning them up and servicing and selling it on even if I make a slight loss. Currently I am certainly limited to one bike due to space and it is nice having one which does pretty much everything I need...mostly.
What are you currently riding ?

I had only one bike for about a decade. First an alu trekking cheapo one, then after some 5 years or so, switched to a nice ti gravel one.
I used that for another 5 years and it was capable a lot of things.
But now i mainly use a 26er mtb with sus fork, and a cromo 28er hybrid. I would say that is the minimum, but if i could only have one, i would possibly choose a cromo 28er hybrid with wide tyre clearance.
Btw i have 11 bikes atm

I must have one retro trail bike, my old faithful will never leave me. Everything else is frills. I like having another one for long paved/gravel rides, a single speed, a more high tech hardtail, and a cruiser for date night (second last one to leave the fleet), plus a vintage tandem for extra special dates. So I need to have one, like to have five, somehow ended up with over twenty

You know, if the consensus on this site was yes:

1: Prices would drastically fall on bikes & components
2: The one bike would be an ATB or gravel bike
3: Potentially, in the event our other halves read this thread, there would be no justification for another, bigger, shed/garage
4: Bike shops would close leaving hundreds out of work

So, the only possible answer is no.
