Another Xizang - listing laziness at its very best!

It’ll bid up high as it contains the words GT and Retro. I was hoping it would go unnoticed like the last one I bought off eBay but it’s already heading up
I think you are right! Still 5 days+ to go. There must still be a few out there in garages gathering dust! Amazing as they are, I'm really not in the market for a Xizang. I have a '98 Lightning, but strangely, I don't 'love' riding it in the same way as my steel or alu bikes.

Someone really wanted it to take that gamble

Frame is worth a grand but who’s to say it’s all good as it’s so hard to check when it’s complete and likely dirty.

I see a few ebay items sell for a good price, often beyond my bid, then back on again the next day or 2 from the same seller.
(It's not enough time to discover your buyer is flakey)
My assumption is that they are shill bidding to push up the price, using a mates account, but went too far and ended up winning it, so just relist.
So I dont bid again but watch, usually the same thing happens again and again... leaving misleading sold prices too.

The market for Xizangs is small I’d say so anyone interested in one likely saw it bid up and then relist. Its deffo not worth £1500 thats for sure

There's also the approach to pay a "deposit" off ebay?
Sometimes with "borrowed" photos.

This sale could be completely legit of course...
