Anodising parts

Howdy, I have a very nice set of Profile Classic SS MTB hubs which are plain polished aluminium, but I would really like them to be gold for a bike I'm building (and I don't think they were ever made in anything other than black and silver); so... can anybody recommend somewhere I can get this done? I've emailed a couple of anodising companies, but haven't had a reply, perhaps the job is too small for them.

I go to A1 anodising they will do them.
You did make it clear they will be stripped of all steel when you send them for anodising?

I didn’t, no, but isn’t that an obvious requirement anyway?

You would think so but I have seen parts there with steel still in them.
I know someone who made a load of ali parts that had to have helicoils in some
threads and he put the helicoils in before sending the parts for anodisng;-)

What happens if there is steel in there? Obviously all the bearings and axles will need to come out, but thinking about it, the toothed part inside the hub is steel, but I don’t think that can be taken out.

The steel gets eaten in the process, and I don’t believe it goes quietly

Apart from screwing your hubs up - it also effects their solution

Bearings are sealed within their own steel, pushed into the aluminium.

Bearings are sealed within their own steel, pushed into the aluminium.
