Anodiser recommendation around west london / home counties

Re:

I think it would be an interesting project to restore some cosmetically knackered parts that were never produced in different colours.
Especially if the decals can be reproduced.

Hmmm I have some worn out Icarus cranks somewhere in the loft. ;-)

Think I need that ointment too. ..

Gil can do the decals probably, look up gil m on here and he can do most.

Decals on cranks aren't gong to last long, some of the 90's era ones had them, Grafton did once, but think the idea was dropped as they scuff easily.

Even the dark blue Cook Bros ones has lettering that was uber scuffed before I got them anodized. They weren't decals though and nobody was sure how it was done. I've put out a question to a local laser etching/cutting company to see if they can help.

Re:

Order an A4 sheet of 10 and re-apply as required; or put helicopter tape over the top.

Problem solved ;)

I always apply helicopter tape before using nos or good condition cranks anyway.

Re:

I was referring more to a small Campagnolo shield decal perfectly cut.

I agree, the larger Cook Bros logo should be blasted or laser etching if possible.

Re:

The original was laser etched.
I have another way of doing them that preserves the anodising rather than removing it. I have a pair to do here when I get time.

When I had my cooks cranks polished I had Gil make some reverse style decals up and I glass ball peeled mine. Looked Ok but if there's a better way I'd opt for that as not to ruin that lovely blue.
