Maybe a return macretro visit during the summer?

Cheap digs in the hotel in Dunkley for an over nighter.

would love to but already have more commitments than time this summer, which will shortly turn into an awkward domestic situation

Summer like day at Pitmedden with Keith. Trails running fantastic, with some new tasty lines being built. I should know, I went head first into one of the them, yum.
Sad to see the lower back forest completely wrecked by clear felling. One of my favourite trails gone forever, good bye Steep and Deep :(

Re:

Aye Steven, it's been a braw day, went up Benarty this afternoon, it's so dry now compared to what it was like just 2 weeks ago.
Keith and I are going out tomorrow but I knew if I didn't go out today I'd have spent the whole afternoon till 7 watching the Melrose Sevens and wasting a braw day.

Agree about the FC, on Benarty they've clear-felled and destroyed one trail and another is unridable as they've just left the felled trees they don't want across the trail in loads of places, the trail where I got brambled.
More felling to come and another trail will be lost too. Don't suppose we can complain, it is their business after all and the trails have been ridden for a long time.

Re:

Twas like summers day today! Think I actually got a bit sunburnt
Went for a road ride.
Off-Road time tomorrow :)

Not long back from a fantastic day out across the border with the NW area group.

11 of us on a brilliant ride in the sunshine around the Penrith area.

Shame I couldn't get all the way down for the Borders ride with you guys, maybe next time.
I spent most of the day at home but did manage to get out for a few hours with the little guy for a ride. He wanted to go round several of the harbours and then eat our snacks at the lookout up at Dunnet Head. Was a nice afternoon but as the clouds rolled in it dropped a good few degree.

It looks pretty good Mr P :) Never realised it had so many branded parts.
Need more pics for a better look ;)
