it was a great day out, the only bummer really was the water-crossing
you know how you can be wet through, but not feel that bad?! well that was how i felt UNTIL i had to wade though that, my feet were sodden and freezing all the way back to the car!
FFTC - in the summer or autumn with a bit less rain and a wee bit of sunshine, it is a stunning area, well worth a visit. google images have some great shots, better than my bedraggled efforts!!

Yeah, the pics look great and we are in Scotland, so if there is one thing to expect.........its rain 
The bike looks brilliant as well as being a very high end looking piece of equipment. Sounds like a great day out, just a shame you got so wet but it doesn't really seem to have affected your enthusiasm for the new ride

i doubt i even did 20 miles, and they're through the paint on the non drive side..... gutted :cry:
in know it happens, eventually, but i have some M952 cranks i've had for years that the paint is still intact on!!
whatever they use to paint these is NOT up to standard if it's rubbing off that easily!

Oooya, that's nae gid. Is it through to the metal or is it just the lacquer? might be worth having a go with some polishing product like Mantis to see if you can lessen the damage then get some helicopter tape on them to prevent further damage.
