Its no my garden, for a wee while I kept it at my mates house thats his Mk1 soft top. He got the use of my welding gear to restore his Mk1 I helped a bit as well.

Today I watched the corrugated steel roof of one of my sheds be ripped clean off by the wind as if it were balsa wood :shock: :shock: :shock:

Bugger, major repair work this week then :roll:

Just pulled together a set of bombers I had lying around in anticipation of the kona frame arriving this week. Had hoped to up the travel to 130mm but the stantions aren't long enough so they'll stay at 100mm. They'll be run on a wee frame with a 24" front wheel so that should be fine anyway.

Had to put some new oil in and went with 10w motorcycle oil but after following the instruction they ended up mega hard, like barely able to compress kind of hard. I've taken about 40-50% of the oil out and they seem OK with the compress on the floor test, will need to wait and see what they're like on the bike. Could have to invest in more oil and/or softer springs.
