Yes, there are kits around to do that. Not entirely sure but I think Cannondale now do a steerer (1 1/8th) that will fit in normal headtubes with reducers.
There are definitely others who do it, and after a wee search,

I nipped down to Glentress yesterday afternoon to take advantage of the weather.

Over-inflated Mountain King at the front, no grip on the boardwalk / chicken wire = shredded knee AND a pinched Magura brake line.



All I want for Christmas are knee pads.

On the plus side, got the wound dressed today at the new A&E up at Larbert, waited approximately 2 minutes.

I'll leave the colour police to discuss whether the blood is scarlet, rouge or vermillion.
