It's a shame not to be doing the whole camping thing, but I'll still be getting out on the bike plenty; off the top of my head I can do: Edinburgh-Glasgow via the canals, Fife Coastal Path, A day in the Pentlands and some road rides.
Cheers Rob, but the problem really arose because the frame doesn't have rack mounts - it was a seatpost mounted rack I was trying. I would have gotten away with it too if I had a bit less gear - should be OK for a weekend, just not 7+ days!
Do you know - I hadn't even noticed that before, I'd just taken a casual look, and not seen anything sticking out like I expected to see Yes, it's threaded.
