Good on ya Eck ;)

However seeing as you've previously said there is no decent single track around your way, where's that then ?????????????

it's up behind murieston in livi , just behind the railway station (livi south) so it's a good 8 miles there and back :D

Just blatted the Trek 9500 around the running track of my local park.
I can't understand why its regarded as the worst full sus ever made, I can't fault it. The bike digs in under power, bunny hops well and is comfy.
The bike will benefit from Magura rim brakes as cable brakes have tortuous routing.
I like :D

Today I did a lot of spray painting. Then after finishing the last can of paint prior to leaving it for 24 hours before lacquer I noticed I had managed to miss the bottom of one of the chainstays. Completely. Five bloody coats and no paint left. And Halfords was shut for the day.

The language was fairly choice to say the least.

I enjoyed mine before i wrecked it, like you i did'nt think it was that bad, probably better than the Manitou in fact, like riding a matress.

The only bike i've managed to ride up stairs as well as down.

I remember when MBUK did the test on it in 91/92 (with mint sauce riding it) and it was the best thing ever, couple of years later they were saying it was the worst thing ever

Worst suspension bike ever has to be the Raleigh Activator or some Carerra contraption.

According to the Retrobike Poll ,which I was responsible for, the Raleigh Activator II was the worst mtb ever !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Technically though I'd say it was the first full suspension BSO as you'd be mad to call an activator a MTB

Strangely I want one
