And today I did......

I have the xt wheels on Mikee and as you say don't think they are heavyweights but suppose the extra metal and rubber will always add a bit, mind you the racing ralfs you gave me were very light but a bit to racy for me, more like a cyclo cross tire IMHO.

Well not today actually but Sunday.
My family and friends with their bairns walked up Falkland Hill and I remembered that my wife and I had MTB'd to top of West Lomond and Falkland Hill a long time ago. Just when I was remembering this while we were standing on top, a guy appeared on a Specialized full susser bike, rode around the viewpoint/cairn thing then buggered off back down to the carpark from where we had walked.

Was it any of you guys? Didn't get a chance to speak to him as he looked like a man on a mission who wasn't going to stop to talk to us mere "walkers" .

A man on a mission on a Spesh full susser, hmmmmm :?

I think I can state without fear of contradiction that he was not one of us

A middleaged bloke possibly pushing his bike, wheezing a bit and happy to chat to anyone as an excuse for a breather is more like us :D

sorry to hear that andy :(

today ave been stuck in the bloody house doing all the crap the wife should of done yesterday

First Ride Photo - the boy just won't sit down to pedal :)
