You'll be lucky to get an AHead Girvin flexstem, they're pretty rare, quill stems are common though. JD Components flex stems are more common in AHead but dont come with a canti hanger.

Personally I'd go for V-brakes or Maguras, both are retro enough ;)

it's the canti hanger i'm after , the canti's them selfs are good :D

i just blew half my paypal funds on a set of pace forks there     i hate this place

If it's Ringo's ones you may have just saved me a lot of cash.

Still too much ice and sow on the trails so got some road miles in and reminded myself how much I like a bit of touring. Lovely bit of B-road stuff to the foot of the Moorfoots, great scenery :D

As a result I have decided I must get out on weekend trips come the better weather. Load up camping gear, head out on a Saturday, do 30-40 miles, rough camp, return on Sunday by different route. That'll be the life although i'll be amazed if I actually do it more than twice

Oh bugger! Right, I can't drink tonight or I'll might do something I can't afford.

Oh! Do something you can't afford... :D :D

They are very nice and I would be taking a loss at that (bought them on eBay for a bit to much when I was three sheets to the wind...)

:D :D

I'd love them mate. But as I've been stuck in the house all day ill I've done more trading than I should have. Sold a couple of bits and bought a couple of bits, and ended up down on cash. Never mind though.

If I wasn't having to buy new specs tomorrow I'd take them off you as they are perfect for what I need. I'll keep an eye on them though.

Thats my idea of fun to Velo, get out there and tell us of your adventures, indeed would be up for a jaunt in the warmer months.
