Just about finished the Hotrock A1 FSR for my son's Christmas. Frame in worse condition than expected with all rear bearings siezed or collapsing. Upgraded bearings etc supplied and installed by Katec Bikes who provided a fantastic service - highly recommended. I will possibly have 2 spare girls Specialized Hotrock frames/bikes if any one is interested in a quick Christmas present build.

i have a mate who might be intrested in a frame and fork if it takes 20" wheels

Sorry Eck they are both 24

Got a pic bullpup? I used an old hotrock24 for miniKen's bike - strip them and they polish up nice, might be interested if it is a newer model.

Sorry Ken they are different versions to yours although it was your build that started me lookung for a frame for my son. First bike is a Girls hotrock 24 although this has largely been stripped, the 2nd is more of a retro ride being a rockhopper 24 although it has now lost it's saddle. The intention was to transfer the running gear to the first but I haven't had the time:

Is it a Marin Kaiser??

I've just found a big crack in the seatstay of my Schwinn Klunker. Its around the canti mount and the whole stay moves when you pull the brakes on. Gutted.

Looks like a rebuild is in order. I want to ride it at Thetford next month so had better get cracking.

Not a Marin.

Its a long running model and unfortunately the manufacturer has slipped away recently(as in cease to exist).

Fisher?

Fisher Hoo-Koo-E-Koo

Hoo-Koo-E-Koo - Trail in Marin named after the tribe that lived there.

I guess you mean gone as they don't have their own range anymore.
