Today I found a coloured headset in Edinburgh!

Now to make a press.

That's a bit primitive compared to the one I made. And I'm going for ratchet spanners. Less effort.

Today I'm building up a bike for a friend to use on the BDW. He only has modern and wants to get into the spirit of things. I've gone a little over his budget but it looks sweet- 80's Cannondale frame, Tange fork, Ti Bars, XC pro brakes and full XT drivetrain. Just need to find a cassette and some pedals and it's done.
Tonight I'm doing one of my favourite routes along the river to the coast, along the clifftops and back through the woods and disussed railway lines. Nothing techy, 22 miles but easy enough. I've decided to take the Schwinn Klunker as it's a while since it had a proper outing.

This should do the job I reckon. Double depth MDF with a locating socket to hold the headset straight. Nice bit of M10 studding and hopefully no hammers. Though that may be a bit optimistic!.
