Tubeless mmmmmm :?
The jury is still out on tubeless for me even though I've set up two pairs of wheels TL
but not ridden them yet.

time you tried them then Rob, you won't look back once you do 8)

Re:

Had wee visit tae Kelty Wids for the first time since middle of October, rode the same trails as then so avoided the mud.
Rode all the variations from the Nae Skills Park down to Triangle and the extended TT Trail.
But it jist disnae enthuse me as much as riding up to top of a hill like Benarty or West Lomond.

I've a set of big un's. Was thinking of lacing them to a wide'ish 27.5 rim instead of the usual 26". What do yez reckon ?
Future proofing should a right sized sus frame come along one day :?
Ive most every hub in pairs, so I could lace up any,but the big un i reckoned was a very good hub. I would think it still have a place in use today.

Re:

Keep them for a retro build. No place on a modern bike.
Any 27.5 full susser is likely to be either 142 or boost spaced. Pretty much all 27.5 forks will be through axle as well.

Re:

Passed my driving test !!!!!

Only 30 years from the issue of my provisional licence, hardly anytime at all

So come January I'm off car shopping and then I might get around to being at more rides and maybe venturing oop to Jamie and Brian's northern redoubt again in the spring.

:xmas-big-grin:
