And today I did......

Hope your OK mate, :) Take it easy, really, and Strava, c'mon not worth having a heart attack for.
I thought for Strava to be working you had to be masturbating at the same time ;)
I too was out on the road today on the Merckx. A few hours out and about after a bit of frame/dropout realignment on the Mercian and then diagnosing what I thought was a worsening rattle the last few times out on the Merckx. Eventually found it when I went to put a new chain on, it was the cassette being loose. Bottom three of the Ultegra cassette really loose. Still not quite sure how other than its moved when I last put it back on after cleaning as the lock ring was tight. Tried a thicker washer and it wouldn't go on so put it back how it was and ..bingo.. it was fine. I think the last small cog wasn't on the right spot on the spline so it stopped it doing up tight. Worked great afterwards and while there I reset all the gears, tweaked them while it was on the stand, just to make sure.
Anyway I will stick a couple of pics in the other thread ;)
Nice day up here but had a really strong headwind on the way home.

Jamie
(its only a joke ;) )

Well if you think that'll help I'll give it a go

Expect a time penalty next Sunday for un-gentlemanly conduct if you wap it out up the Sidlaws.

Re:

I'd have thought riding one handed and staying upright (so to speak) would be worthy of extra points :?

You know what happens when you call for volunteers and can't get any?

You have to set the example and do it yourself... :)
