And today I did......

Did a silly thing today.
Near drifted into what a thought was an outside lane. Single decker bus that suddenly appeared on an intercept course brought me to my senses.

Close one no mistake. Been a bit shook up since. Lots of thinking about how close that one was
Familiar road(out of Govan, towards paisley rd west, south of the clyde heading east.
Recent road workings and the new slanty bridge bridge splits the road into a cycle lane(with nifty raised separation, all very EU) then two singles, one in,one out, then an embankment, then another pair of single lanes. Im on the IN next to the cycle lane about to cross over to the embankment. I readjust my focus and a friggin bus appears   about 20' away.
Crushed the levers

Re:

I haven't been on the bike for a few days so I went out tonight, 10 miles off/on road. Those Lance Armstrong supplement that the NHS gave me seems to be working a treat, pullin like a steam train and my pulse running at 113 - 130 bpm (yes I dug out a old pulse monitor) as a precaution as I wasn't feeling right since yesterday evening :?

Kill or cure
