velo, is the brake boss pop-riveted on? If yes, it might be better drilling them out and re-gluing using epoxy (Araldite) with new rivets.
Not got much faith in super-glue for jobs such as this. Mind you, it might be OK for gluing yer teeth back in. :mrgreen:
