But an unknown is the attitude of the major landowner - the old owner has just died and whether his heirs will want the race to continue may be a question.

This is why I responded as I did to the idea of common land/forestry land being handed over to private owners. Some suggested it would make no difference to access, but you just never know.

It's not an access problem. They can't take that away.

Running an event over someone's land is a different kettle of fish though.

I've no idea Andy, they are quite new and they are lovely and pretty bloody light. I'm fairly sure they can use regular rings as well.
That would be good, given the price of their own, but i fear 5 arm 110/60 will leave me needing one of theirs. Unless 60mm bcd is the new 56 :?

Did you guys know Wiggle has a clearance shop on ebay ?

Re:

Spent the morning at Pitmedden with my fellow Macwetros, Keith and ZZ, observing rules 9 and 5.
Spent more time fixing Keith's bike than riding mind you! Good ride despite the weather, with some classic comedy falls on the Pits infamous roots.

Well, I was cozy in ma bed this morning avoiding the rain then enjoyed the veritable televisual feast of motorsport that is the BTCC from Brands Hatch 8) . Then, in the gap between the BTCC and the F1 start on CH4+1 at 5pm, I managed 5+ miles in Blairadam IN BLAZING SUNSHINE  . My girls all found something else to do.

Whit is wrong with Keith's bike noo?

Please tell me that Keith fell aff loads as he wiz rippin the pish oot of me when we were in Pitmedden the last time for me fallin' aff lots. A combination of me running out of talent and not coping well with the crapness of Racing Ralphs in non-dry, non-race conditions.
