And today I did......

Im hoping my bike gets back from the lbs this weekend. Be nice but i still reckon the stems too low :?

I got given series one of Game of Thrones and despite reservations it would be poor locations or mostly studio based, with only a couple of main actors and 1/2 dozen extras for the battle scenes, along with wobbly wooden sets, but im pleased to say it was none of this :D and is actually so enjoyable that today i bought the complete 2nd series, which ill start watching this very eve 8)

Re:

Game of Thrones!!!!
Its funny you should say that I've just discovered it this week on YouTube, well bits of it.
Its brutal at times and who writes the dialogue gets my vote
The wee guy, what a voice AND he gets the best lines to say.
The women are aw right a'naw

Re:

Ahem............??

I have never got into GoT but always wanted to, then someone said it would take too long to catch up with and you have to have seen it from the beginning....but obviously it's doable by the sounds of it!

First aid course in Aviemore with 5pm finish so took the Erzulie up to Loch Eanaich. Cracking evening. The loch was a mirror reflecting all the hills. Last wee bit of sun on the tops of the corries on Braeriach. Nae camera. Doh. Numpty. Frozen hands coming down but a wee Brew Dog has reopened the capillaries ok.

It can be a cold ride coming back down that glen! At least you didn't do a ZigZag.
Nice spot though. Much snow about?

Not much snow. One wee patch over the landrover track high up track. This good weather has cleared it fast. There is a sign saying the single track bit is by the river shut for a landslide but it is easily carried over and better than slogging up the landrover track.

Ok not today but Sunday..I was at the Dunkeld Enduro. Had a stinker of a race. The technicality of the course meant that my rock up and ride policy was not the best idea. Every stage had trail obstacles that had me scratching my head and I dearly missed not doing the practice day. Still I enjoyed it thoroughly, rode stuff I'd normally balk at (not always successfully though if my legs are anything to go by). Takeaway lesson is go to the practice day! The physical aspect of the day seemed to allow my immune system to drop its guard and I've been laid up with the Norovirus most of the week, frakin horrible it was.

Well done K, Dunkeld round always sounds like a challenge. Keep meaning to head up and ride some of the stages sometime. Easy to find?
Speaking of Dunkeld, I've found out about Flotec suspension based there. Rebuild cost for the forks I screwed are £35 cheaper than Mojo, plus it will be cheaper to drop them off and wait than pay for return postage.

Also, in the last few days found out that Mexican Father Christmas "may" have a gift for me soon.

Re:

Routes should be up on Strava C. And Flotec built stage 4 and 5 so they could point you in the right direction. I'm hoping to get back up at some point, I'll keep you posted, need to excise some demons :)
